• 1 frozen banana (peeled and chopped)
  • ½ cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 large handful of fresh spinach
  • ¼ cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or other plant-based milk)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)


  • Add all ingredients to your blender.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy, adding more liquid if needed.



You can adjust the amount of spinach and celery to your taste preference. If you’re new to green smoothies, start with a smaller amount of greens and gradually increase as you get used to the flavour.

For an extra boost of sweetness, you can add a squeeze of honey or maple syrup.

Frozen pineapple will help make the smoothie thicker and colder. If you don’t have frozen pineapple, you can use fresh pineapple and add a few ice cubes.

This smoothie is a great source of vitamins, minerals, and fibre. It’s a perfect way to start your day or as a healthy afternoon snack.
